Salus Oculi Kenya (SOK) is an organization dedicated to create equal opportunities for visually impaired persons, through provision of quality eyehealth and education.
Registered in December 1996 under Kenya’s NGOs Act No.19 of 1990, we have been proactively running projects that have to date created awareness, reduced stigma and revived hope for families and communities living with visually impaired persons.
One of our core values is simplicity, and this helps us to ensure we minimize administrative costs, to the advantage of our projects’ beneficiaries.
Our simplicity approach also helps us to easily engage with communities, stakeholders and donors in a way that helps us achieve sustainable and high impact objectives.
