Ensuring eye health programmes are accessible and welcoming to all members of the community i.e. people from all disability groups, including vision impairment, and other marginalized and sociallyexcluded people;

up to 80% of blindness is preventable & treatable.

Cost-effective interventions are available for the major causes of avoidable blindness. However, millions of people in Africa remain at risk of visual loss due to the lack of adequate and or affordable eye-care services.
